Session Analytics Overview

Session Analytics is your go-to tool for uncovering what’s really happening on your eCommerce site. It lets you view customer sessions, reproduce errors, and analyze behavior by segment—helping you turn confusion into clarity.

Customize Your View

Once inside, set your desired date range to focus on the most relevant data. At the top of the report, you’ll find a quick summary that includes:

  • Total number of sessions
  • Conversion rate
  • Browser and device breakdown

This snapshot gives you a high-level pulse check on how your site is performing.


Dive into Session Details

Scroll down to explore individual session data. For each session, click the dropdown arrow to view the full customer journey:

  • Referrer site (where the user came from)
  • Visited pages (the path they took on your site)
  • Detected issues or failures (like broken elements or slow pages)

Want more context? Expand the dropdowns next to any error indicators to see full failure details.


View Recordings

To replay a specific customer session, simply click the play button. Watching these recordings can help you understand exactly what the user experienced—including what went wrong.
